Safe-T-Link Gas Connector Hose, 1/2" connection, 48"L, stainless steel braid with extruded coating, (1) quick disconnect, (1) 90° elbow, (1) street "EL",This 48” Quick-Disconnect Gas Appliance Connector (HG-4C-48) from T & S Brass is a good choice for hoses located at the back of the appliance. The quick-disconnect end acts as a shut-off valve when the plug and socket are disconnected for optimal safety in the kitchen. The other end of the hose features a FreeSpin rotating fitting that allows the hose to be turned 360° without obstruction. The connecting seam between the hose and end fitting is typically the area that is most prone to breakage, but superior welding keeps this seam gas-tight for years. The interior of the hose is made from a stainless steel braid that protects the inner hose from pressure and stress while giving it flexibility. The outer coating of flexible plastic adds to the hose’s strength while maintaining flexibility. The plastic is not dipped during production, so it will never strain the wire braid or get caught inside the braid after bending.
